BUZZ BUGGY LAUNCHES IN SAN DIEGO
Custom Tuk Tuk and Golf Cart BYOB tours are coming to San Diego.
(April 25, 2019) Buzz Buggy, a San Diego-based company, is debuting a new unique way to explore San Diego. The open-air eco-friendly vehicles include custom Tuk Tuks and Golf Carts. The Tuk Tuks also known as rickshaws are 3-wheeled 6 passenger vehicles, while the Golf Carts seat 5 passengers. Launching this month with 6 vehicles in operation, the BYOB tours service the downtown San Diego areas – Gaslamp Quarter, East Village, Marina District, Seaport Village and Little Italy. In addition, Buzz Buggy will tour other popular neighborhoods such as Bankers Hill, Hillcrest, North Park and South Park. So grab the cooler, pack-up the booze and lets cruise!
Catering to both residents and visitors to San Diego, Buzz Buggy serves as a platform for socializing and having fun with friends, family and colleagues, while exploring local sights and enjoying the outdoors. The concept for Buzz Buggy, owned and operated by longtime San Diegan Laura Rovick, is to provide exciting tour and transportation alternatives to San Diego. Ms. Rovick paved her way in this unique industry back in 2011 when she launched Social Cycle a 16-passenger touring bicycle, pedal-powered entirely by its riders and steered by a professional driver.
